So yesterday Nate and I decided... "Babe, let's go get a Christmas tree!" We found this awesome farm called Yeager Tree Farm in Phoenixville, PA and truly it was the first time we ever cut down our own tree! My whole life I have just picked a tree from the pre cut selection, but I don't know if I could ever go back to that after discovering the "cut your own method." It's exhausting but honestly THE MOST FUN EVER!

Don't ask me why -- but this year we decided we wanted a 10 Foot tree. <Insert laughter here> This is especially ridiculous because we live in an apartment. However we do have HUGE HIGH ceilings so it works-- sort of! Wait til my "it's decorated post" coming soon to a blog near you.  Yeager farm will give you a ride out to the trees and help you cut them-- but we decided to just walk the whole farm! I'm pretty sure it took us 3 hours to pick a tree - not kidding. Truly, we could not make up our minds as we searched and searched for the PERFECT TREE. Finally we found her... <Nate went into Lumberjack mode> THANKFUL FOR HIM!

The Yeager farm offers complimentary cookies, hot cocoa and cider! We were starving at the end of the hunt for a tree so we also got $1.50 hot dogs!
Oh and my fave part you can always get a picture with Santa! Am I too old? Oh well.

How do you pick a tree? Do you use a artificial one? The real thing?
More to come on the tree situation....

P.S. Nate's outfit and our tree part 2 is on the blog --Wednesday night.

If you have never been to Yeager's Tree Farm it's a MUST VISIT.
xo,
Alex
